The IOT offers versatile facilities, including two conference rooms, four meeting rooms, and advanced laboratory classrooms. With high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, our venue supports seamless in-person and virtual meetings, making it ideal for conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
Our venue offers a large, free car park with ample space, ensuring easy and convenient parking right at the doorstep. We also offer a dedicated disabled car park, located just outside the building, offering easy access and a hassle-free arrival for guests with mobility needs.

Our premium, glass-fronted conference room offers a versatile space designed to accommodate a variety of seating arrangements and events.
With a capacity for 50 attendees in a theatre style, 20 in a boardroom setup, and 30 in a cabaret configuration, this room is perfect for diverse events and meetings of any kind.
Conference room 2
Our larger conference room provides a versatile space for various events, accommodating 70 attendees in theatre style, 30 in a boardroom setup, and 45 in cabaret configuration.
The spacious layout allows for comfortable seating and easy movement, making it an excellent choice for large conferences, workshops, and professional gatherings.
Lab Classrooms
Our lab classrooms offer flexible seating arrangements to suit your needs, accommodating up to 30 people in a classroom style and 30 in a cabaret setup.
These modern, well-equipped spaces are ideal for hands-on training, technical workshops, and interactive learning sessions, providing a dynamic environment that enhances both individual focus and group collaboration.
Meeting room 1/2/3
We offer three small meeting rooms, each designed to accommodate up to 4 people.
One of these rooms is equipped with a smart screen, enhancing your ability to present and collaborate effectively. These intimate spaces are perfect for private meetings, one-on-one consultations, or small group discussions.
Meeting room 4
Our smaller meeting room is ideal for focused discussions, accommodating up to 14 people in a boardroom setup.
It provides a comfortable and professional environment for strategy sessions, team meetings, and collaborative work.
Atrium
Our modern atrium space accommodates up to 100 people in a tiered theatre layout, offering an excellent view for every attendee.
It features a large smart screen that ensures high-quality visual presentations, making it ideal for impactful events, conferences, and seminars.
The sleek, open design of the atrium provides a contemporary and engaging environment, perfect for memorable and effective gatherings.
Facilities
We have a large car park opposite the building. (What3words ///muddy.gloves.tribe) The barrier will be open, and the car park is sign posted. There is also a disabled parking area directly in front of the building with electric car charging points.
We offer a guest “Open” Wi-Fi service at the IoT (DC Guest) which you can sign into using email or text message.

“We have booked several meetings at the IOT and as a company we find that the service offered is first class. Firstly, there is a large free car park which is fantastic for our clients as this takes away the worry of parking and charges. The booking procedure is really efficient, and someone always gets back to you on the same day as you enquire. The meeting rooms are all to a very high specification and make meetings look professional. The catering service offered is excellent with a good variety of food and drink on offer.
